First of all, it's CHE with a hard 'ch' (as in chap ) and rhymes with fray . Where'd we get that name? Well, it was inspired by (but not necessarily named after) Ernesto 'Che' Guevara, the Argentinian-born revolutionary. What does it mean? It's not even really a name, per se. Che Guevara got the nickname from non-Argentinian Latin-Americans because he used the term, which is Argentinian slang equivalent to English slang for "man" (As in, "What's up, man?"). Despite all of the above, we simply liked the name and the way it sounds.
